Australia-born twins Liv and Mim Nervo have been making waves in the music scene since co-writing the hit “When Love Takes Over” with David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. Since then, the girls have worked on tracks with Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Armin Van Buuren and Ke$ha. The sisters began working on their debut album, which they have both written and produced, after signing with Virgin Records America. After recently ending the Femme Fatale tour with Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears, we met up with Nervo to talk about their new album and the long-awaited iDentity Festival tour.

YRB TV sat down with the genre bending brooklyn MC Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire. His throwback style and ringing baratone have made him a force to be reckoned with in the underground New York rap scene for years. As his star rose he began growing tired with how he was being pigeon hold into categories that he felt didn’t fit him or his music. After a hiatus from music, eXquire is returning with a vengeance, recently appearing on MTV’s sucker free countdown with a vicious freestyle that exhibits both his roots and where he is going. YRB aired out some of his laundry at “Laundry City” in Crown Heights, where the MC let us inside his thoughts, but only briefly, before he reminded us “don’t eat my mind.”

After waiting for several years, real hip-hop fans can rejoice with the arrival of Saigon’s much anticipated debut, which remains virtually unaltered from its initial creation five years ago. Sai Giddy spits some eye opening bars and tells YRB what inspires him, how his “Yardfather” persona came to be and recalls almost beefing with Kay Slay for a mixtape spot.
